30 minute canine massage session
Full Tail Wag
60 minute canine massage session
What’s the difference between a 30-min and 60-min canine massage?
Each and every dog is treated with the utmost care and customized, targeted treatment during their session. The length of time I spend with your pup is up to you!
All session benefits include:
Focusing on target areas of tension, pain, or discomfort
Increasing blood circulation
Easing stiffness
Promoting a sense of calm
Increasing overall well-being
Pupper Power-Up
Perfect for: Dogs with short attention spans, active dogs needing light recovery, or older dogs who may benefit from shorter, frequent sessions.
The 30-minute session is ideal for dogs who have busy schedules or just need a quick boost. This session focuses on providing targeted relief to specific areas of tension or discomfort, like sore shoulders or hips. It can help increase blood circulation, ease minor stiffness, and promote a sense of calm. Dogs typically experience a shorter but effective release of muscle tension, a quick mood boost, and a little extra pep in their step.
Full Tail Wag
Perfect for: Dogs with chronic conditions, athletic dogs in need of full-body recovery, or dogs who love a longer pampering experience.
The 60-minute session offers a comprehensive, head-to-tail experience. It provides more time for the massage therapist to address deeper muscle tension and stiffness, allowing for thorough work on multiple areas of the body. In addition to physical relief, this longer session promotes emotional relaxation, helping anxious or high-energy dogs fully unwind. Dogs often experience improved flexibility, reduced pain, and overall rejuvenation, with a longer-lasting sense of well-being.
How to prepare for your canine massage session
Every dog responds a little differently to a massage session. While I’m very prepared to be flexible, there are a few things you can do to help set your dog up for success.
Try to schedule your session during a time of day your dog is typically relaxed
Take your pup out for a potty break before we begin
Create a calm space with limited distractions
Tell me what treats and toys are safe and acceptable to use
Consider if your dog will do better with or without you in the massage area.
What to expect from your dog’s massage session
Before
It’s best if your dog continues their normal food, medication, and exercise routine as they do every day! A quick potty break is the only other thing your pup will need before beginning their session.
During
Our sessions always start out with me establishing (or re-establishing) trust with your pup. This usually only takes a few minutes, but it’s okay if they need a little more time. Your dog is free to sit, lay, stand, or roam during our session.
While my goal is to spend as much hands-on time as possible with your dog so that they receive the maximum benefit from their massage, some dogs need occasional space. I will always respect their boundaries!
aFTER
Each dog responds a little differently to canine massage. Some might leave energized, ready to romp and play even more than usual. Others might feel a little sleepy and groggy, ready for a post-massage dog nap. There is no right or wrong way for your dog to react post-massage!
